We all have the duty to take care of our bodies. This can help us more than we can imagine on long term. We should be looking much more seriously at the composition from foods that we eat, so we can enjoy as much as possible of the indispensable health.
Romanian nutritionist Mihaela Bilic explains all you need to do to prevent various diseases that you don't need.
1. Vegetables
Every day, eat as many vegetables as you can, they are full of vitamins, fiber, minerals, water. Are very low in calories, good news, huh?
2. Eat only whole grain products
According to Dr. Bilic, all products containing whole wheat, whether it's black bread, pasta or something else, are rich in fiber, vitamin E and minerals.
3. Legumes - full of phytonutrients and plant protein
Every week feed your body with legumes such as beans, chickpeas, peas, beans, lentils. They are high in vegetable protein and phytonutrients.
4. Drink plenty of water
It would be good to drink plenty of bottled water, force yourself, even if you're not thirsty.
5. Avoid excess salt and salt products
Some of the products with high salt content such as smoked products, fries, fermented cheeses. Instead of salt would be advisable to eat less spicey foods, but something simple, prepared at home.
6. Fruits, the best substitute for sugar
Fresh fruits are infinitely healthier than sugar or trade tasty products like cakes and other delicacies that can strongly affect your health on long term.
7. Avoid pre-prepared products in stores
Dr. Bilic recommends to avoid products ready made because they often contain salt, sugar or too much fat, the best would be to cook something at home not so spicy, a very simple dish.
8. Weak dairy - most appropriate
According to Dr. Bilic, the best would be to point your eyes to fresh milk, yogurt, cheese and other foods rich in calcium.
9. Fatty fish
It is high in omega 3 fatty acids, you can find in salmon, herring, anchovies, sardines, mackerel. Also, fatty fish is rich in proteins and minerals.
10. Avoid alcohol
Alcohol reduces with 30% power of organism to remove fat. And I don't think you want to gain weight.
11. Refrain from these poisons ...
Fast foods, the fried ones, baked goods and chips. They are a small fraction of the many unhealthy products that would be better to avoid them.
12. Avoid animal products one day a week
Stay away from dairy, eggs, meat at least one day each week. Enjoy various salads of vegetables, fruits. Whole grains are also highly recommended on this day.
