Can We Really Trust McDonald's? 5 Things You Should Know

Be honest. Are you hungry? Me too.

I know a McDonald’s restaurant. Just two blocks away. Would you like to come with me? Yes? That’s GREAT.

But first let me tell you a few things about the healthier options that we’ll have when we get there.

For breakfast

  • Fruit & Maple Oatmeal. It packs just 290 calories.  Apple slices. I love apple. That will add another 15 calories.  Coffee without cream or sugar, it’s gonna offer you 0 calories. I don't know about you, but that’s music to my ears. Low fat milk. Well that’s gonna add another 100 calories.  We have a total of just 410 calories.
  • And here’s the second meal option for breakfast. Fruit and yogurt parfait (150 calories), along with (medium or nonfat milk) Iced Latte, which adds another 60 calories to your belly.  We must not forget about Hash Browns, which contain about 150 calories. Our total is gonna in this case, 360 calories.

For lunch or dinner

  • Lets start with milk (100 calories). This only offers 1 gram of low fat. Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with a little bit of lemon. This has 190 calories. Fruits and walnuts are going to give you 210 calories. And we have 500 calories.
  • Our second option starts with Premium Grilled Chicken Sandwich, 350 calories. Side salad with no dressing has ONLY 20 calories.  And of course, a glass of water (0 calories). That means a total of 370 calories.
  • Let’s see what we have for the third option. Do you like Grilled Chicken Ranch Snack Wrap? Of course you love it (just 270 calories). Let’s not forget about small fries, 230 calories. We have total of 500 calories.
So, can we really trust McDonald's? In my humble opinion, yes. Kind of.
